Instant Gallery

We have developed off-the-shelf web site products Instant Gallery Brochure (IGB) and Instant Gallery Ecommerce (IGE). They can be used for anything requiring the display of images, not just online galleries. The former is free for personal use. Listed below are some of the features found in these applications.

IGB and IGE features

Instant Gallery is a set of php files with html templates and a single controlling style sheet.

The brochure version of instant gallery is freeware and is very easy to set up. It allows simple customisation such as buttons type, colour of background and company name etc... Please see readme.txt file for further information about features and installation instructions.

It has a very basic admin page which allows the upload of images, thumbnails and text files consisting of a description of the item. It also meets level A accessibility standards.

The e-commerce version of Instant Gallery is also very easy to set up. It allows advanced customisation by editing html templates. Please see the readme.txt file for further information about features and installation instructions.

Although its called Instant gallery it could be used for anything requiring the display of images. It also has a administration section which allows:

the upload of images (with automatic thumbnail conversion if the gd lib is installed).
online editing of templates.
viewing and updating online of orders.
viewing and updating online of item data.
site creation from images uploaded manually in folders (see readme.txt for details).
contact email page allowing customers to contact you directly from your site (tech note: page written in php, not a simple mailto).
accessibility features such as access key navigation.
